What a wonderful day! Time to spend with family, enjoying company, food, and fun activities. We arrived in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday evening and visited with cousins, Grandma, Grandpa and Julia. On Wednesday, Jim got to cross off one of the things on his list of things to do in his life.

Grandpa's neighbor needed someone to take his car out because it hadn't been driven while they were on vacation. Darn, we just happened to be visiting when the job needed to be done. He hasn't stopped bringing it up in a conversation since he got to drive it. We visited with Job, Cami, Lauren, and Naomi again in the afternoon, then had dinner at Grandma's. For Thanksgiving, we started the morning with a scheduled Turkey Bowl at the church. We were the only ones who showed up so Jamie took Grandpa's Corvette for a drive around the church parking lot. Wow, lots of fun driving this trip. We helped with the cooking and had a wonderful turkey dinner with all the trimmings. After dinner, we took a walk along a bike trail at Avila Beach's golf course. The weather was beautiful. We have had a couple of days of rainy, cloudy weather and today the sun was out. We came back and had some dessert. Yum! I am thankful for friends and family and health on this Thanksgiving. I hope you all have had a wonderful day too.
