Christmas Activities

We have been busy with all the Christmas activities lately. I have been trying to get in the Christmas mood. I was ready for it before Thanksgiving, but now not so much. We finally have everyone home! Jamie came home on friday and she will be here until April when she goes back for the Spring semester. My nephew Tyler (who will be leaving next month for a mission in Kennewick Washington) stayed with us last night on his way to Maui to meet up with his family and my mom and other relatives. Jim said he would pick him up at LAX after work since Julia needed to be picked up at Burbank at the same time. Well Julia called to say she missed her connection in Phoenix. They sat on the plane for about 20 minutes in Flagstaff and so she and some others didn't make it in time. She wasn't coming in until 9:30 pm and then JIm got stuck in the traffic and it took him over 2 hours to go 25 miles to the airport to get Tyler. Poor Tyler had to sit for an hour at LAX after sitting in Dallas for about 5 hours earlier. It was an eventful evening, but everyone got here safely. Alyson and I took Tyler back to LAX this morning at 6:00 to catch the next leg of his trip to Maui. We will probably decorate cookies and make some more goodies to deliver to our friends tonight. Yum!
