Well Julia made it home Monday in time for a doctor appointment with the orthopedic doctor. She wanted to be checked out since she can hardly walk. She amused me a little when she went upstairs crawling on hands and one knee with the right leg out straight so she could get a shower before we went. The hospital in Mammoth didn't give her the x-rays they took (they sent them home with a different patient, but that's another story) so she had more taken of her back, shoulder, and right knee. She has a nice bruise across her back and arm (looks just like a ski). She has a large bruise on her right leg and scratches on her face and back (the one on her back looks like tread marks). The doctor said she needs an MRI on her knee to check the ACL, the meniscus (don't know how to spell that one) and the ligament that goes around the knee cap and up the inner thigh. She went to school all day yesterday and was really sore today. Hopefully that will get better as time goes on. She explained a little more of what happened and basically the Ski Resort worker was taking his friends down the slope and ran over her. She thought a heavy skier crashed on her and wouldn't get off, she doesn't remember a lot but the guys were talking to her and the snowmobile was tipped on its side still running (they had to push it off of her). What an adventure life is. Thank goodness she wasn't hurt worse!

That stinks! I smell lawsuit:) Hope she feels better
Hearing her describe the part where she thought a large skiier was on her was pretty funny, though. Leave it to Julia to make you laugh over something so serious! I am glad she made it through and hopefully her knee will heal! BTW, I added more pictures to my last post. Nothing exciting, but I was having trouble getting blogger to upload my pictures!
