Jamie and Alyson tried out for the High School track team again. Jamie decided to try pole vault this year, but neither of the girls made it on the team. They were disappointed, but now have decided to find other things to fill their time. Amelia had her first Orchestra Concert at the middle school. I was very impressed with how nice they sounded. No screeching violins at all.

She took her first driving class today in the rain and even drove on the freeway (I guess that can be easier than the streets). And finally, Amelia has grown up - yes, she got braces this week. She looks a lot older now.
Tonight she got to go to her final Primary Father/Daughter Dance so she still is a little girl for a short while.
I hope this wasn't too boring for you to read, but it was good for me to journal about what we have been up to since I don't write in a regular journal.

i love it when you update! i really, really, really can't believe how old your girls are getting. i probably say that every time i comment.
braces on amelia! i have the orthodontist's card and i'm giving him a call this week for liesel and gwyneth. ouch!
